Artist Statement Robert Watamba is a versatile Artist who practices several methods of expression (Painting, Drawing, and Graphic Design) to create beautiful pieces. His passion for art began at the early age of 10 in a remote Ugandan Village. Although he excelled in Art in Uganda, financial hardship and internal political strife and instability caused him to have to place his practice of it on hold for several years. Thing were so dire that his first painting was done with house paint on canvas. After his migration to the United States in 2007, his love and passion for art was reignited and he began to practice his longtime passion once again.

Robert currently resides and practices his art in Van Nuys, Ca with his wife and two daughters.
