Artist Statement My pastels are a combination of two passions: painting portraits and flowers. The faces are from my imagination, most of the flowers are from my garden. I recently retired and consider myself a "re-emerging artist." Many years ago I used to do local, national and international shows with wildlife paintings done in gouache. I was a contributing writer to The Artist's Magazine and Airbrush Action.
I live north of Tampa, Florida surrounded by oak and hickory trees.
