Description American alligator (Alligator mississipiensis) smiles for the camera at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. In the left background shadows is another alligator. Note: This is not a zoo; animals are rescued and rehabilitated, then released if possible.
Randi Kuhne, Homosassa Member Since July 2010 Artist Statement I enjoy digital photography, particularly landscape and macro. My main gallery, Florida, features photos of my current state. I've lived here since 1995, on the Nature Coast, in Hernando and Citrus counties.
My MonoprintMultimediaDigital gallery has monoprints, mixed media, and digital art made with any or all of the following: Gelli plate, brayer, paint, ink, masks, stencils, stamps, collage, digital enhancements. It also has fairy poems I wrote and illustrated.
I also have a gallery featuring photos from my travels in France.
Since you're still reading this, I'll tell you more about me. I was born and raised in New Orleans, the second of four siblings, all of the female persuasion. My favorite food is watermelon. I'm vegan, and have been vegetarian/vegan since 1986 for personal and planetary health. I have three children and three (adorable) grandchildren.
My day job, which I work at day and night, is affiliate marketing, by which I have earned my keep since 2000.
What, you're still reading this? OK, let's see... I have bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Clinical Hypnotherapy, and am trained as an NLP practitioner. I've also been a certified surgical technologist, and sold both Mary Kay Cosmetics and Tupperware.
Have I dug deep enough for you? Good. I'm done.
Thanks for reading all this and visiting my galleries!
