Description 12'x24' acrylic painting on linen canvas. This painting shows a harvesting crew in Florida picking oranges in an early morning fog. The pickers work with ladders to fill 120 lb. crates for transport. A yellow lab waits near its owner. Scenes like this are becoming rare in Florida, so this is a historical recreation of a time gone by.
Robert Wince, New Smyrna Beach, Florida Member Since September 2009 Artist Statement I have been painting most of my life as a self-taught artist, but I have benefited from numerous classes and workshops. My work has been shown in galleries and outdoor art shows and I have won awards for my efforts. I paint mainly in acrylic and oil and my work ranges in size from 5"x7" to 36"x 60". I enjoy traveling and setting up my field easel in some beautiful area and painting what I see. Perhaps you've seen me painting in one of our national parks or hiking on a mountain trail. Many of the original paintings are still available for sale. email: email@example.com
