Artist Statement I seldom put titles on my images, allowing beholders to respond emotionally to what they see in a way that their unconscious can perhaps meet mine in those sometimes very rich and colorful and sometimes almost empty spaces.
I was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. I lived many years in Paris and in Rome. Now I am living in Belgrade, Serbia. I am ethnologist and as deeply rooted in human science I have translated some significant Art monographs in the Serbian language, as well geopolitical, philosophical and architectural themes that make me share the languages and, hence, the cultural spaces between France, Italy and Serbia.

Painting was my hobby until, in early 2000, I discovered the limitless possibilities of computer generated or algorithmic ally enhanced worlds. The apex of this phase was my solo exhibition in an art gallery in the center of Old Belgrade. Now I am mostly photographing rust whose rich textures and colors are a perfect mean to reach my goal – to explore the dreamlike symbols, emotions, instincts and archetypes that we all share. The opposite subjects are the common things in our surrounding, denuded to the essence of their simplicity.
