Artist Statement I've been interested in photography for years, but only in the last 3 have I really gone mad on it. I regularly get up before dawn to catch the sunrise, and can often be seen fighting my way through undergrowth by anyone foolish enough to be doing the same.
I am very interested in HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. It's a technique where you take several exposures of different brightness, and then combine them together in software to create an image with a higher range of detail than you could achieve with one image alone. It can look very unreal, which when done well looks amazing, but is often overdone. I try and use the technique to create punchier than normal images that don't scream "FAKE!". I love bright colours and this technique seems to bring them out well.
Have a look around, and if you like anything, buy - something has to justify my lack of sleep and scratched knees.
