Artist Statement My name is Angel Michelle Geil and I am a photographer residing in San Jose, California. A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know. My photographs offer the viewer an opportunity to slow down for a moment and ponder the secret, examine the delicate and refined beauty of single object, a diminutive flower. They are meant to manifest in one a sense of the now, of presence or being in a very esthetically pleasing manner.
I am currently showing a series of black and white flower prints at the Mountain Song Gallery in Carmel, California.
