Photographed south-east of Anchorage, Alaska, along the Seward Highway. The body of water is called the 'Turnagain Arm' of Cook Inlet.
I used a polarizing filter to bring out the colors, particularly the sky. By using a wide-angle lens, I was able to make the foreground more prominent and still include the dramatic sweep of clouds in the sky.
If you look closely, you can see a small airplane passing by on a 'flight-seeing' trip.
