I try to make images that make me happy. This may put me at odds with you - no doubt you're here looking for something that makes you happy. I appreciate that you've stopped by and I hope we can meet in the middle somewhere - my images are for sale because, on some level, I'm ok with pictures that make both of us happy.

Making a good image is one of the hardest things I've ever tried to do. I'm a big fan of film, found moments, peopled landscapes, and shots that edit the world around me down to the very best bits. I'm not a big fan of HDR, heavy photoshop, huge camera bags, or cameras that get in the way of seeing the picture as it happens.
