Artist Statement My passion for photography started by helping my brother, a professional journalist and photographer, in his darkroom, back in the late 1970’s and 1980’s. Watching an image come slowly to life in a plate full of developer was something new and exciting to me, and it still is. Moving on to digital was only a new challenge which I gladly accepted.

Though I love all good images, I have a clear preference for landscapes and unusual sites, especially those reflecting the peaceful and impressive creation of God. Many are the times when I first sit down to contemplate and enjoy a landscape before making the photo.

I hope you also enjoy what I have seen. That’s the main reason for doing it.
