RD Riccoboni, San Diego Member Since January 2007 Artist Statement RD Riccoboni® is an innovative American-born painter (California, 1960), and best-selling author. Influenced by his early years living in the Connecticut suburbs of New York City this self-taught artist, credits encouragement by family and teachers for his drive and inspiration. The artist resides and paints in San Diego, California and is a member of the historic arts colony at Spanish Village Arts Center in Balboa Park San Diego.
RD Riccoboni paintings on canvas and paper depict his travels and local interest. Subjects include the story of San Diego, California, landscape, cityscape, portraiture, street-scenes, public events, and everyday happenings and friends.
