Description My grandson and I were working on art designs one day, him on his computer and me on mine. He had found one of Alessandro Pianon's glass birds in one of my mid century modern books and wanted to recreate it. I tweaked it a bit to make it print ready, and added various background colors, but the design is his, so I put L. Ihms on it. I am very proud of him. I think he did an amazing job. In fact, when he said, 'Grandma, look what I made,' I turned around and nearly fell off my chair when I saw what he had done. I was SO impressed!
Donna Mibus Member Since September 2013 Artist Statement Thank you for visiting! I am a Christian, wife, mother, grandma, dog mom, and artist. The artist part came when I turned 50 and took up painting. When I was growing up in the 60s, I greatly enjoyed looking through the Sears and Montgomery Ward catalogs at all the modern furniture and accessories. I loved it all! I include all those same mid century modern items in my room scenes because I still love them. I'm blessed to have had my art work featured in numerous magazines. I've also been featured in many mid century modern blogs. I very much hope my work makes you happy! All my designs are protected by Copyright Laws. This includes my black cats.
