Artist Statement This Photo-Artist has no aspirations of being the next Ansel Adams or Annie Leibovitz. Instead, Gene Bishop captures moments in time that will never happen exactly the same way again, and shares them with others. He believes that art should be enjoyed by everyone, and to do this, it must be affordable.
Gene has no formal training, but has a love of photography that drives him to have his camera at hand every moment of the day. Always ready to capture a sunrise, a bird on a tree branch, or steam rising from a creek on a cold winter morning.
Gene also has a love of the nude male form, and manipulates his shots into an alternative art form.
