Artist Statement Martin Pierce works from his studio on the Dorset coast in England. The local landscape has inspired him to produce a series of colourful paintings which capture the spirit of the area in his own unique style.

As well as being an artist, he is also a musician and this has led to a large and diverse series of paintings where, again, perspective and visual accuracy are subverted to create a world view that is full of light, colour and line.
