Artist Statement At the age of five, I drew a better portrait than either parent. Since that day, I've been labled "artist". Only recently has my art spilled over into the world of photography.


I won't claim anything but amateur status, I am completely self taught. Mostly I just take pictures of things I see as interesting, or attractive. I work with plain old film, and a plain old Canon EOS 300 camera. I don't have the knowledge yet to employ special lenses, or flashes. Maybe one day I'll get a little education!


So, for now I drive around my local area and do speed photography: jump out of the car when I see something, *snap!* jump back in. With two small children not yet in school, keeping track of them makes photography an extreme sport!
