Artist Statement Having reached my 50's I have now been interested in photography for over forty years. What have I got to show for it? Well, over those forty odd years I have worked for a journal as a freelance (Professional Nurse if anyone is interested) where I got a few front covers and numerous features before deciding that freelancing didn't help pay the bills (at least not to the satisfaction of the wife!).

I have also done commissions for companies, organizations and individuals though to be honest I have largely pursued my own interests. I guess some would call me an amateur and in terms of my main source of income lying outside photography, that would be true. However, I am passionate about photography in particular and the arts in general. I hope my approach is professional and I hope my work speaks of my passion.

I now have thousands of images and I can see myself never fully cataloging them all, especially as I continue to take photographs almost every day!
