Description North American B-25H on low altitude bomb run, above broken cloud-cover.Gouache on illustration board.Intended for low altitude work, against shipping and ground targets, the B25H was not equipped with a Norden bombsight. Instead the nose was covered with armor plating. The remainder of the plane was equipped with an arsenal of weapons which included eight .50 caliber machine guns and a 75 mm cannon mounted in the nose.
