unparalleled
somewhere on another plane just a quantum shift away from the edge of this reality i am living a completely different life
from time to time i feel the sun of another world know a happiness foreign to the ghost that rises from sheets of dark dreams to eat the dust of grayed-out days perhaps someday we'll be able to cross the unseen border to that parallel born of cosmic bruising but i won't live to see it
even were it possible this minute the passage would be impossibly expensive a luxury afforded only to the impossibly rich
i sit in this airless chamber a specimen glued to blank paper holding the last rose rescued from october's garden contemplating its slow invisible death an ironic parallel of my own
