Description Stagmomantis carolina, the Carolina Mantis, is commonly seen throughout the Southeast U.S. Its coloration is variable, from green to brown, or even mottled gray. While females have been known to cannibalize males, all mantids commonly prey on their own kind when given the chance.
Joshua And Kelly Clark, Woodbine, Georgia Member Since July 2008 Artist Statement Hi, we are Josh and Kelly Clark of Woodbine, Georgia. We are twin brothers working at the College of Coastal Georgia in the Natural Sciences Department. We have always had a love for the natural world and enjoy drawing in our spare time. Our nature artwork comes from our time spent outdoors. Occasionally, we spot an animal or plant that inspires us, and we then get our next subject to draw. Drawing these subjects brings us joy, and we hope that you choose to purchase and enjoy them as well!
