Artist Statement Julie is a Narrative Artist and Illustrator who creates whimsical, hand embroidered illustrations from recycled cotton fabrics.
“I live and work on the beautiful Fylde Coast where I can often be found telling my baby grandson stories about our seaside garden and the creatures who visit us there, both real and imaginary.
My work combines my love of storytelling with my passion for embroidery and I spend many an evening curled up on the sofa with needle in hand letting my mind wander to new characters and places and the adventures they have there”
