I love all things rusty, black and white photography, classic architecture and grafitti... I try to get out on photo outings whenever I possibly can.

I began participating in group gallery shows at the Core Gallery in Portland Oregon (June 07). Followed by group shows at The 100th Monkey Studio and art gallery in SE Portland (www.the100thmonkeystudio.com/)

In 2009 a photograph I took in the Columbia Gorge was used as part of an online presentation for "The Confluence Project" by installation artist Maya Lin which documents the Lewis & Clark story through the Native American experience. That was a big honor for me as I think highly of her work and have great appreciation for the history in the Northwest. (Discover the Confluence Project here ~ www.confluenceproject.org/)

Also in 2009, author John Jung asked to use a photograph I took in Portland's Chinatown which was published on the back cover of his latest book: "Sweet & Sour: Life in Chinese Family Restaurants". (stores.lulu.com/chineserestaurant)

This year I had the opportunity to take my first cd liner portrait for a self-titled cd by local Portland band "Groovy Wallpaper". (groovywallpaper.net or to listen: http://www.skipvonkuske.com/groovy_listen.htm )

I appreciate any comments or feedback on my photography. Thank You!
