Artist Statement I'm big into nature. I never thought about it much before I moved to the city. To me knowing the names of trees and flowers was like blinking ......... natural. Now, I have to go find nature and perhaps I appreciate it more.

My favorite pictures are the ones where I found it mere steps from my "normal" life. A tree in the parking lot, a view from my walking trail, etc. I think we all have that beauty around us, but we can't or don't see it because we've all gotten too busy.
