Description When a Shelby Cobra named Snake Bit meets up with a Saleen Prepared Police Pursuit Mustang U know there will be some noise! We ran across this delightful tableau on a moonless night out in the high-lonely. Out around state highway 16 North of Bandera the Mustang Pursuit set out to catch the Shelby Cobra with speed approaching 200 miles per hour ~:0)Whew! What a ride! We were in the ol Yellow Truck when they shot by us like a rifle shot. First one Wha was tha-? Boom! Then the other one blasts by us. Instinctively I floored it. Been chased a time or two me own self ~:0) But there was no way of keeping up with the Cobra or the Mustang. Especially with olwhatshername stuck to the ceiling of the truck Ha!Funny thing is whenever Im driving and something goes down its always my fault. U guys out there know what I mean. A flaming circus wagon could bust loose from a helicopter and fall from nowhere up ahead. I might brake and steer around the smashed bits all the while being blamed for carelessness for not anticipating or reacting appropriately to the 0.025 second event -ha! Uve all been there. U know what Im saying. But I digress ~:0)Anyway Cobra roaring toward Kerrville. Mustang catching it up from Bandera. Yellow truck in between when all the sudden were two miles behind them. Well I smell a photograph! The game is afoot as far as Im concerned. Ol-J wants to turn around and head home. No Way! I Shouts!!! Im gettin that shot! sez I and off we goes! Actually, I can only drive so fast with an hysterical sheila screaming her head off next to me on a twisting road on a moonless night. And in pursuit of a Snake Bit Cobra! Sos we wasnt the first ones on the scene when we caught up with the copper an his prize! But we was third ~:0)So heres the shot of the Cobra and the Police Pursuit cooling off in the middle of the road.
