Description Colorado Continental Divideis a color photograph wall art print of the continental divide west of Denver. Heading west from Denver, you go under the Continental Divide using the Eisenhower Tunnel and drop down into a valley surrounded by mountains. This particular capture was taken in mid July with all of the mountains still showing snow above tree line. The setting is Loveland Pass with the road in the foreground as it winds down towards the easter portal of the Eisenhower Tunnel. Youll note the storm clouds that have built to the north of the divide, which is normal for this time of year in this part of Colorado. Kirt Tisdale, Sherman Oaks Member Since February 2013 Artist Statement I have been creating art since I can remember. I have been blessed with having my work featured in various venues. What drives me is the beauty in the world with which we live. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated. Good art invokes an emotional response either through the scene depicted or the colors used. I hope my work invokes the same in you.
