Artist Statement In a world where people seem to be getting busier every day as they rush from one appointment to another, photography is a way to slow down and really look at what we are missing. It provides tangible expression of cherished moments and places visited. For me, it offers a way to relax and to appreciate the beauty in the ordinary and everyday sights that so often get overlooked because of their familiarity.


As a hobbyist photographer, I attempt to photograph the places where I live and visit in such a way that others will see them through new eyes and gain a fresh appreciation for simple pleasures.
