Artist Statement I'm a student at the University of Maryland who just returned from 5 months of studying and traveling in Asia. I went there intending to document my travels in photographs, and the photos in my Traveler gallery are the results of that effort.

In each place on my trip, I tried to find something unique to that region and culture, whether it be the people, the food, the landscape, or the architecture. So you'll find that my photos focus on both the grand achievements of a nation and the daily life of its people. I learned a lot during this adventure, and I hope you'll find some of that in my work.
