Description A good friend of mine spent his early years on the reservation outside of Tucson. Even after many years, he often, very fondly, describes how, as a young boy, he would be walking through the desert with his Grandmother. He lived with his Grandmother several years and remembers the times it was just the two of them going to visit an aunt or cousin or friend or sometimes just to enjoy the quiet serenity of the desert. Having visited that area and felt firsthand that same quiet serenity, I am very proud to introduce 'Desert Walk'. As you look at this painting, you too will feel the warmth and comfort he must have felt.

Artist Statement Hello everyone,

To all of you who have purchased my work or have simply visited to take a closer look, I am extremely grateful. I feel like I now have friends everywhere from Tianjin, China to London, England to Santa Fe, New Mexico and many, many other wonderful locations all over the planet. It is a very exciting experience!

Having lived in the southwest for many years, I have had the opportunity to view the jaw-dropping beauty of its landscape and the Native American culture. As an artist, it was only natural to represent that beauty in my work. Each painting is a delicate mixture of realism and the abstract with the same delicate mixture of warm and cool colors. I began my journey as an artist several years ago using oils and recently decided to switch to acrylics. My paintings have received numerous awards. Many of my original paintings and prints of my work have been purchased all over the U.S. as well as internationally. I am certain you will find these paintings enjoyable and, because new paintings are added to the collection frequently, I hope you visit often.
