Artist Statement I've always been a lover of the arts. I love dance, music, paintings -- especially watercolors, sculpture and photography. I never dreamed in a million years that I would be a nutritionist AND add photography to to the list of things I love to do. I haven't been shooting long but I am passionate about taking my camera out on walks, to the beach, when I travel and always trying to compose photos in my head -- learning how to find that unique angle and the right light. I love photographing nature, people, architecture, and still life. I also love black and white. Although I am learning, I still have a ways to go but I'm loving the journey.

I have had a chance to combine both nutrition and photography by photographing oranges, apples, strawberries and other fruits and vegetables. This has paid off when I had a chance to help edit a nutrition textbook and the publishers used two of my photos on the cover.
