Artist Statement I have a firm belief that creativity comes not from within, but from our ability to reach out and capture what is existent in the Universe. A number of us are fortunate enough to be able to tap into what is already there

I have been blessed by that invisible phone line that enables me and many others to seize what is going by. We all have this ability, but for some it is easier than others.

In 1991 I became ill with bi-polar disorder, or manic depression, that left me unable to return to my work and studies as a musician. After these horrible experiences, I have been able to transfer my musical abilities to visual ones. I still play and compose to some extent

I live in Minnedosa, MB, Can. where we have a lake and river leading into it . While in my kayak, I can remove myself from the outside world, leaving my soul open to all kinds of wonderful experiences. It is through the water and the wildlife that my soul reaches out to harmonize with the arts
