Artist Statement Hi, I am a self - taught artist. Born in Alexandria,Virginia. Although I have lived in the Caribbean most of my life since I was 13 years old. I support my self through painting. But in addition to being a painter. I am also a photographer and sculptor. I paint in oil and acrylics on board, and canvas and sometimes wood. Using brushes, my fingertips, or anything available. I like to paint late into the night. Painting rural surroundings, everyday life, beach scenes, and underwater scenes, faces, and people. I take my inspiration from an inner voice and my faith. I hope my work reflects the enthusiasm and love I have for the beauty, the colors, and the people of the Virgin Islands. With the day -to- day activity of the Caribbean life. I am a free spirit,it keeps me always soaring. I dance with the ocean.
