Carol Hendrix, Las Vegas Member Since June 2008 Artist Statement CAROL BIERING HENDRIX, a Las Vegas, Nevada resident, was born and raised in Texas where she developed a deep interest in horses and art. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Education/Art, she began specializing in commissioned oil portraits of horses, other animals, florals and landscapes. She has been involved in various art activities since that time, and her work has been included in many private collections, galleries and shows.
Her work has been juried into many shows and as a working artist she continues to persue various venues that will add to the quality and value of her work. She is a member of the Equine Art Guild, the Canine Art Guild, the International Equine Art Association, Henderson Art Association, Women Artists of the West (WAOW assoc.), the American Academy of Women Artists (Artist Member), the American Academy of Equine Artists (AAEA Associate) and the National Society of Artists.
As a visual artist specializing in oil painting and commissioned paintings, I have tried to present a view into my studio.
