Description Fire River- This is a photograph of a river in Alaska known as the Knik River(or Fire River translated from Athabascan to English) It was so named because the water in this river when viewed closely almost appears to be boiling or bubbling. Artistic brushstrokes have been digitally added to this photograph to make it resemble a painting when viewed closely. I have found this effect to be quite popular.
Paul Huchton, Texas Hill Country Member Since January 2007 Artist Statement Thank you for viewing my photography. I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to many beautiful places in my lifetime. I have attempted to capture the beauty of these places and the Texas Hill Country Region(where I call home) through my photography, and I am pleased to offer the photographs here for viewing and sale.
Nature's beauty is both varied and abundant. Landscape photography is my preferred genre(it's hard to beat God's artwork) but I enjoy photographing other subjects when the opportunity arises.
If you are in the Texas Hill Country Region(Kerrville area) and in need of wedding, event, portrait, or commercial photographer, or if you are interested in using any of the images here as stock photography, send an email to email@example.com, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks for your interest in my photography
