Artist Statement I was born at home in Basildon or Basvegas as it's now affectionately known. I am inspired by Belly Dance, Flamenco, colour-all colour, texture, patterns, contrasts, decorative but practical design, designs with something to say.

I love Life Drawing. People are excellent! Fat or thin, tall, short, black or white, bring them on! When I think of an artist to aspire to I think of Degas.

If I attain that level of sketching in my lifetime i'd go to heaven with a huge grin on my face!

I have a BA (Hons) Knitted Textile Design but I don't have the patience for it anymore so I use mixed media so I can create my images faster.I design bespoke portraits of Belly Dancers at present and will be researching the influence of yoga on Belly Dance in the future.

I like to design eclectic peices that reflect my lifestyle, friends and family.
