Artist Statement I am a professional designer/ illustrator living in the Kansas City area.

I love to play music and I love to create art, so I mashed it all together and began to sketch designs for guitar illustrations using inspiration from some of my favorite subjects. My gallery is the result of all that mashing, now if only I could play them in real life!

All designs begin life as pencil sketches done on 4" x 6" cards. Once I'm happy with the sketch, it is cleaned up, then scanned into the computer. I draw shapes over the top of the sketch and begin to build layers of color, adding highlights and small details as a last step. Hope you enjoy them and thanks for looking!
