Artist Statement I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas Wesleyan University in art. I earn my living, however, as a special education teacher.
I enjoy almost all types of mediums, especially oil, acrylic, color pencil, pen and ink and pencil. I also like photography.
I particularly enjoy portraits and the human figure. I want my work to be playful and fun. I hope some of this come through in my work and most of all I hope some of them bring a smile.
I am married with two children, a girl, Kerstin and a boy, Shelby. I also have two dogs, Indiana, and Sadie and nine lazy cats.
I really enjoy Imagekind and all the wonderful artist on the site. I am amazed and inspired every time I log on. I think it is fantastic that so many of us with similar passions can communicate and share the fruit of that emotion.
