Artist Statement I thought everyone could take an object and enlarge it by sight. Now in my 40's I have been assured that this is a unique talent! It's my mothers fault really. When I was 4 years old she occupied my time one day by telling me to draw the cartoon character Snoopy. I ran over to her after doing so and to her surprise I certainly had. Then she said make it larger. When I asked, "How?" she said, "Just make it bigger." Sounds easy enough I thought and that's how my creating began.
It wasn't until 2006 when I suffered the loss of a loved one that I prayed to God to show me Himself. To let the "Rocks Cry Out!" I believed but after such an ordeal I needed His comfort, His presence. So with camera in hand I ventured out of the house for the first time in weeks. The Kentucky sky was overcast yet glowing with that special stormy light and He provided me with many special sites and perspectives that day. I returned home exhausted yet at peace. Since that day photography has been very dear to me and I thank God for giving it to me so that I can point to His creation.
