Artist Statement My name is Jean Cote and I was born in Quebec, Canada. I was married for ten years and have two kids, Marie-Eve 21 and David 15. They live in Montreal with their mom and today, I live in Ontario, Canada with my common-law spouse, Theresa Warren.
I started to draw when I was about six and started to paint when I was about twelve.
I only worked with one medium, oil, for many years, but since a few yreas, I started working with water color and some acrylic.
I prefer to do landscapes and still-life, but recently started to do abstract and I enjoy it very much.
