Artist Statement Born and raised in hawaii, I learned early to love life and enjoy all things I do. As a kid I would run all over the place without a care in the world, years later I still try to do the same but I like to think I have a place I’m running to. Moving up to California after high school was the hardest thing I have ever done, but it has allowed me to find my bearings and take off down the right path. In my first two years after high school I attended Santa Monica Community College while i worked on parting from my irresponsible youth, I found a true love for design in all thing around me. Whether it is organic or manmade, pretty or ugly, art surrounds us in our daily lives. After my acceptance into CSU Long Beach I really began to focus my studies and personally push myself to becoming a better designer and artist.
