Artist Statement I have a BA in visual Culture, which I majored in at Curtin University of Technology. Photography has been a life long interest. I like to photograph landscapes, seascapes and citiscapes. I love photographing the enchanting Central Coast, where I now live, in NSW, Australia.
My interests include reading, films, travel and literature. I enjoy creative writng. I like a wide range of music, including Flamenco guitar.
I was born in New Zealand, near Wellington. I have lived and studied in London. Australia is now my home. I have travelled in Spain, Italy, The British Isles, india and Canada. I hope to travel again.
I think an appreciation of your visual environment is very enriching, and relaxing, on many levels. Modern life and modern technology is linked with a fast pace of life, with people coming and going from our lives, and life can include constant changes. It is very relaxing to pause, and become aware of the visual environment around you, and to simply enjoy each moment.
