Description Sometimes I try and capture with the technology of today some of my early works in computer graphic imagery. I call these works my Redux Series. There was a time in which some of the great movies have been reissued on DVD, have been given the Redux moniker. One great example of this is Apocalypse Now Redux directed by Francis Ford Coppola. In this issue of the movie he added significant updates to this movie to his vision of how this movie should have been seen many years ago. I used his same model of viewing to incorporate into my art work as well.
Brian Isaacs, Taos Member Since August 2009 Artist Statement I knew I loved art and photography when I was only ten years old. I learned how to photograph from an early age because of my father, Tony Isaacs, who through his business Indian House, a record company, would photograph the covers for his albums.
I built/upgraded my first computer in my Jr. High School years. I made my first digital image, in the mid eighties when most systems were hundred of thousands of dollars.
I spent hours each day teaching myself computers and mastering the world of digital technologies.
