Artist Statement Carol Ann Thibodeau is a Canadian Artist, Painter born in Weston a former village of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She enjoyed country, suburb and cottage lifestyles and moved to British Columbia where she lived on a farm. Presently, she resides in the community of Maple Ridge embraced by the Garibaldi Ranges of the Coast Mountains, northeast of Vancouver.

Working namely, with acrylics she paints on canvas, paper or wood and focuses on Collections. In applying gesso on wood she usually measures then sketches, under paints, layers and sometimes, works with inks, mediums or found objects. A professional, permanent bonding agent is used adhering fibres, embellishments and/or objects as a creative process for artistic purposes only.
