Artist Statement Jessica and Daniel Drake grew up loving art. Each traveled down a path that led to discovering new art mediums but both fell in love with photography. The two married in January, 2005 and continue with their love for art and photography together with their business, Drake Photography (DrakePhotography.net), which was established in 2006.

Along with a love for art, they both also enjoy horses. Jessica's beloved pony, Buddy, however, was sadly diagnosed with Equine Cushings Disease in 2007. Buddy, also known as The Painting Pony, is also a lover of art and had discovered painting earlier that same year. He now paints abstract paintings using acrylics and sells them to help cover the cost of his medical bills. He also donates 10% of his profits to research on Equine Cushings to help other horses who share in his struggle with this terrible disease.
