Artist Statement Originally from Liverpool. I have studied design, print and publishing at btec level and also gained a HND in Graphic design completed in July 2001.
My main passion is combining my love for photography with my personal illustrations mixed with graphic manipulation stemming from my previous graphic background.
I work mainly toward more abstract pieces of work. I love to discover textures, architecture, nature and the human form, amongst other things. I enjoy bringing about a certain level of emotion to my work from the use of colour throughout, to create a certain kind of intensity, to hopefuly allow the viewer to experience a kind of emotional journey. For the work to appear ever changing, organic and to feel as if it is coming alive and that each time the viewer engages, they can see a different perspective each time...
