Description Gardens on the Greek islands are rare due to the lack of rainwater so many are white gravel and amnphora filled with plants. The contrast of colour and texture - green and red lush plants on hard, blinding white stone backgrounds - only emphasises the environment these beloved plants live in. Against all odds, with the right support, life can survive everywhere.

Artist Statement I'm going back to a love of my teens - trying to catch, and share, a little of the beauty in this world ...

I try not to give you a bland description of the physical aspect of my photographs, but an indication of what they mean to me, of the thoughts that run through my mind as I gaze at them. I would welcome your comments on what thoughts are triggered in your mind as you peruse my images.
