Artist Statement I wander. I don't really mind where, although, of course, I love taking myself off to attractive or exotic locations. That said, I do enjoy finding something impressive in the most unlikely of places, and this is something that can only be achieved by the randomness that wandering allows you.

(I have got into trouble a few times this way. Nothing too serious, thankfully, although there's some experiences I wouldn't care to repeat. It's still worth it, though.)

There's something special about seeing a place this way. You're not looking at it as many would like you to, but based on your own judgment as to what is interesting (as well as a healthy dose of chance).

My pictures, then, are my own set of small observations about the places I go to. There's nothing set up (although I do sometimes wait for the light to improve, I must admit...)

Now I'm married, I'm settled in a surprisingly obscure part of England, given its location relative to places like London and Cambridge (I suspect it's quite happy with this situation). I still love to travel, locally as much as far away.
