Artist Statement Chantel Schott is a self taught artist in all mediums and has been creating abstract works since 2005.
Her works have an appealing sense of colour that creates an effect of synchronized harmony. Exhibiting in the “Painting a Different
Picture” art show she raised $2000 as a collective for the Eaglehouse charity in Brisbane. Her artwork ‘Robot’ and ‘Ruby Propeller’
was featured on-line at Mutual Design Playground in June and July 2009: http://mutualplayground.com/blog/ Chantel was runner-up
in the Rock the Art Vote competition for the company sweetriot in July 2009: http://www.sweetriot.com Her print ‘At Sea’ will
feature on the McGregor Summer School brochure in September 2009 and she has donated the artwork ‘Bendy Tulips’ to the USQ Artsworx
