Description lincoln, a very special man for me.over the years i have done close to 23 portraits of him in paint and numorous digital creations...these days more than ever I feel compelled to share even more of him with the world and I leave you with one of his quotes that always left me a good impression..when I do good, I feel good, when I do bad, I feel bad.that is my religion.-abraham lincolnthe Garrison Storm Flag flying over the Fort on April 13th, 1861 during the Confederate Bombardment that signaled the beginning of the Civil War.the vintage photo is of some of the first african american slaves that fought in the civil war on the union side...many of them were enlisted and shipped from out of new york..with no doubt they helped to turn the tides.
Gregory Gallo, new york Member Since December 2006 Artist Statement My main passion and desire has always been to create positive motivated themes based on natural inspirations from the good earth herself. My interests in geology astronomy and archeology as well as oceanography have influenced me greatly from the beginning with all my creations in the fine art realms. Both with my paintings as well as what I call digital lithos. I am also involved in the commercial art realms for mass market but still hold true to my ideas of spreading that positive motivated theme. In my realms there is no room for the reality tv ideology that seems to be saturating the market these days. Im available for custom creations on these levels and in my studio I still have the paintings that you might see that are available if you should like to contact me directly at anytime....
