Craig Stapley, Logan Member Since December 2008 Artist Statement Like many artists I began drawing at a very young age and just kept on going and going and going... Well you get the idea. I began this series of drawings while still in high school. I became obsessive about detail as you can see in my works. Every brick is drawn along with every leaf spending an average of 1000 hours on each drawing. Pencil as an art form is very old and under appreciated. In today's world pencil is used in mainly the preliminary stages of sketching for a piece of art. It was my goal to explore the medium to its fullest and see what I could make of it.
