Description Oil on canvas. Free formed painting. Using quick and fast brush strokes, I created an under painting outline of this and went back over it and tried to make since of it. Needless to say it took awhile. Really aimed to bring the foreground forward and hi-lighting the background mountain formation to create a three dimensional effect. The sky uses different shades of red forming bizarre bubble like bellows. It is a very Escher like design in that it is hard to see where it begins and ends, that was the point. My favorite thing is how bright the opening is, both physically and emotionally.
