Description This painting was created in homage to Gustav Mahler and his second symphony, Resurrection. Around this time Leonard began exploring a new technique....that of pouring paint onto his primed piece of masonite and then tilting it at various angles until he had established the shapes that he would then paint back into. The original piece (sold), made in 1997, measures 96' x 48'.
